Thank you to all who made it out for Populace today! Some absolutely delicious food was shared, comradery was had, and Lady Arnora won the rapier tournament.
Some announcements for the Barony:
-There will be a Introduction to Heraldry class November 8th at All Saints Episcopal Church by Sayyid al-Faris . On November 16th, THL Corbin will be teaching a shoe making class, he asks for $15 for materials.
-Our bid for Coronation in January was accepted, we will be looking for volunteers to aid in committee work. Lady Asdis will be organizing a largess derby (theme and rules to follow).
-Next weekend is the Las Cruces Arts Council Renaissance Festival, we encourage everyone to go! Great shopping and food, lots of demo opportunities and a great place to recruit for the Southern Outlands. We will talk with Lord Thorbjorn if Sunday practice will happen or encourage everyone to go to the fair.
-With Daylight Savings happening next weekend, practices will start at 10 am.
-HE Carlos encouraged everyone to put March 22, 2025 on their calendar for Kingdom Arts and Sciences competition in Farmington. To go and volunteer as a judge, to participate in the competition, or to just go and see the amazing things people are doing. Car pooling will be an option and figuring out housing will be taken care of.
