Twelfth Night 2018

Citadel Twelfth Night – The Wonders of Jerusalem

No automatic alt text available.

The Barony of Citadel of the Southern Pass is pleased to extend an invitation to one and all for the Celebration of Twelfth Night and Southern War Practice. Join us on a journey that will take us to the heart of the land of Outremer, the great city of Jerusalem. This holy city is sacred to three faiths and home to Muslim, Jew and Christian alike. Come with us as we celebrate the best of these three cultures with a feast that calls upon beloved delicacies from each. See the wonders to be found at the Grand Bazaar, take A&S classes, and sample goods and barter with merchants from many faraway lands.  Artisans bring your finest creations and compete for the title of Citadel’s Arts and Sciences Champion. There will also be a target archery range at the feast site with competitions starting at 10 am.

The Jerusalem Bazaar

Come one, come all to the Bazaar! Now it the time to clean out your store rooms, feast chests and other spaces and bring items that you no longer use for donation, selling or bartering with other attendees! We will have space available for you to set out items that you wish to redistribute while at the same time getting a chance to find some new treasure to add to your goods. Please contact Lady Rita, the Bazaar coordinator, if you need to make any special arrangements. Help us to create a fun, medieval market atmosphere!
